2024 SURRON Ultra Bee
Another bold attempt, another milestone breakthrough. Engineered with experience gained from the existing Bee family of electric bikes, as well as racing over the last few years, the all-new Surron Ultra Bee is here to redefine the electric off-road experience.
OUT FROM WITHIN.
Inspired by its successful predecessors, Surron’s Ultra Bee takes electric performance to a whole new level. Surron’s latest powertrain system is at the heart of this mid-sized powerhouse. The newly-designed platform delivers precision lightweight handling, smooth power output, and integrates Surron’s refined off-road traction control system (SRTC) to help conquer obstacles on your ride.
A refined, race-inspired braking system will boost stopping power on the trails, while the unique TR rear suspension and new front suspension will inspire you to go faster, jump farther and ride with confidence.
BALANCING ON THE CUTTING EDGE
Based on the design concept of “Balancing on the Cutting Edge,” the Ultra Bee matches an aluminum alloy forged chassis with Surron’s 4th-generation powertrain, resulting in a weight of 187 lbs (85 kg) and even distribution.
Features may include:
- POWER PACKED
The Ultra Bee’s new 4,070Wh battery pack brings high power density and battery cycle life while achieving an even lower battery discharge temperature rate. This new design improves reliability and continuous discharge capability. A total weight of 45 lbs (20.5 kg) was achieved using an industry-leading power density of 200 Wh/kg.
- CARRY POWER WITH YOU.
A hidden space under the seat is designed specifically for the Ultra Bee’s charger. You can now carry your charger on your bike, giving you the ability to stop and charge anywhere you find an outlet.
- FULLY ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
Featuring a newly-designed suspension system with 9.4 inches (240 mm) of travel front & back, the new Ultra Bee offers a wider range of adjustability for various conditions. The new forged aluminum frame’s dark green look helps the Ultra Bee further stand out in the crowd.

The Surron Ultra Bee MX dirt bike sits in the middle of Surron’s full-size range — more capable than the Light Bee, more accessible than the Storm Bee, with a 12.5kW motor that suits intermediate riders moving up from a smaller platform.
Power, battery and range
- Motor: 12.5kW, mid-drive
- Battery: 60V 55Ah lithium-ion, approx. 3,300Wh usable
- Configuration: pure off-road, no road-legal equipment fitted
- Suspension: adjustable front forks, rear shock with spring preload adjustment
A balanced step up
Power delivery is linear across the throttle range, giving riders coming from petrol bikes predictable response rather than an abrupt on/off character. The frame geometry and suspension specification suit motocross and trail riding for adult riders.
Australian compliance
The Ultra Bee 2024 is an off-road-only configuration with no ADR-compliant lighting or registration equipment — it cannot be ridden on Australian public roads. If road capability matters to you, see the Ultra Bee Street Legal variant, which shares this drivetrain with a road-legal equipment package. Always confirm requirements with your state transport authority (NSW, VicRoads, TMR Queensland) before assuming an off-road bike can be registered.
