Shipping & Delivery Policy

This page explains how Surron Electric Ride prepares, ships, tracks, and supports deliveries for high-value electric bikes, Talaria dirt bikes, Surron models, batteries, chargers, road-legal configurations, and large freight orders across the EU and international destinations.

Delivery overview

How Surron Electric Ride handles electric bike shipping.

Surron Electric Ride supplies high-performance electric ride products that require more care than ordinary parcel goods. A product such as the Talaria Sting R MX4 Off-Road 2025, Surron Ultra Bee MX Dirt Bike 2025, or Surron Ultra Bee Street Legal 2025 is large, valuable, battery-powered, and often heavy enough to require freight handling. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains what customers should expect before dispatch, during transit, at delivery, and after arrival.

Our goal is to make delivery predictable. We prepare orders for safe movement, share relevant tracking or dispatch details where available, and expect customers to provide complete delivery information. Electric bikes may be shipped boxed, palletised, strapped, protected with internal packaging, or handled through multi-stage logistics depending on the product, destination, courier route, and available freight service. Delivery timeframes can vary because large goods may move through regional depots, cross-border handlers, customs processing, or scheduled freight appointments.

This policy applies to all relevant products sold through the store, including Surron, Talaria, off-road MX bikes, street-legal electric ride models, chargers, batteries, accessories, replacement parts, and power components. Shipping conditions can differ between compact parts and complete electric bikes. A charger or accessory may move through parcel delivery, while a complete bike may require freight delivery. A road-equipped product may require different documentation than a private-land MX product. A cross-border shipment may require more handling time than a domestic shipment.

Order handling, freight delivery, customs, inspection, and support.

1. Order processing and dispatch preparation

After an order is placed, Surron Electric Ride reviews the order details, payment status, product availability, delivery address, and any notes supplied at checkout. Orders may be held if payment requires verification, if the delivery address appears incomplete, if the customer has entered conflicting information, or if the product requires additional preparation before freight collection. High-value electric bike orders may require more review than small accessory orders because the cost of failed delivery, address errors, and freight recovery can be significant.

Processing time begins once the order is accepted and payment is confirmed. Processing does not always mean the item has already left the warehouse. It can include order review, product allocation, packaging, documentation, courier booking, battery transport checks, and freight handover. Complete electric bikes such as the Surron Storm Bee MX 2025 or Surron Storm Bee Enduro Road 2025 may require additional logistics planning because of size, weight, value, and destination.

2. Delivery address accuracy

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address. This includes recipient name, street address, building name where relevant, apartment or unit number, city, region, postal code, country, phone number, and any access notes that may help freight delivery. If the delivery location is remote, restricted, difficult for large vehicles, or requires appointment scheduling, the customer should provide that information before dispatch.

Address errors can cause delays, failed delivery attempts, depot holds, rerouting charges, return-to-sender costs, or loss of delivery appointment priority. If you notice an address error after ordering, contact support immediately. Once an order has entered freight processing, address changes may not be possible or may require carrier approval. For large electric bikes, even a small postcode or phone number error can delay delivery.

3. Freight delivery for complete electric bikes

Complete electric bikes are normally shipped by freight or specialist courier rather than ordinary parcel service. Depending on the product and route, the bike may be shipped in a reinforced carton, on a pallet, with internal frame protection, with wheels or handlebars arranged for transport, or with protective packaging around battery and electrical components. The delivery driver may not provide full assembly, product setup, technical inspection, or disposal of packaging unless such a service is explicitly offered.

Freight delivery may require someone to be available at the delivery address. The carrier may call before delivery or may arrive within a delivery window. Customers should ensure the delivery location can receive a large box or pallet. If access involves stairs, narrow entrances, restricted streets, gated properties, commercial loading zones, or remote rural roads, tell us before dispatch. A failed freight delivery can create additional charges and delays.

4. Shipping of batteries, chargers, and electrical parts

Electric bike batteries and electrical parts require careful handling. Lithium-ion batteries may be subject to courier restrictions, documentation requirements, packaging rules, or route limitations. A replacement battery may not always be shipped in the same way as a standard accessory. Chargers, controllers, displays, wiring components, and related parts should be checked for compatibility before ordering because incorrect electrical parts can create safety issues and may not be returnable once installed or used.

Customers should never ask a courier to modify packaging, remove battery warnings, or treat battery goods as ordinary unregulated goods. Safe transport is part of responsible e-commerce. If you order a battery-related product, make sure the delivery address can receive the item and that someone responsible can inspect it on arrival.

5. EU and international delivery

Surron Electric Ride may serve buyers in the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, and other international destinations depending on product availability and shipping feasibility. Cross-border delivery may involve export documentation, import review, customs clearance, VAT, duties, local taxes, brokerage, courier handoff, or additional identity and address checks. These steps can affect timing even when dispatch from the warehouse has already occurred.

Customers are responsible for understanding import rules in their destination country. Local taxes, customs duties, registration requirements, homologation requirements, or other government charges may apply depending on the product and destination. A street-legal electric bike can still require local registration or inspection. An off-road electric dirt bike can still be subject to import classification. Delivery completion does not guarantee that the product may be used on public roads.

6. Road-legal electric bike delivery considerations

Road-equipped products such as the Surron Ultra Bee Street Legal 2025 or Surron Storm Bee Enduro Road 2025 may include equipment intended to support road-use configuration, but delivery of the product is separate from local registration approval. Buyers should confirm licence category, insurance availability, local registration pathway, lighting requirements, number plate mounting rules, and any inspection requirements before ordering if road use is essential.

Shipping documents are not the same as road registration documents unless explicitly stated. If your local authority requires specific paperwork, ask before ordering. Do not assume that delivery to your country means automatic road approval in your city, region, or member state.

7. Off-road and private-land model delivery considerations

Off-road electric dirt bikes such as the Talaria Sting R MX4 Off-Road 2025, Talaria xXx TL2500, and Surron Ultra Bee MX Dirt Bike 2025 are generally purchased for private land, closed-course, farm, trail, or MX use where permission exists. Delivery of an off-road model does not convert it into a public-road vehicle. Customers should plan transport from the delivery location to the riding location if the bike cannot be legally ridden on public roads.

Before ordering an off-road model, confirm where it will be stored, where it will be charged, how it will be transported, and where it will be used. These practical details can affect delivery satisfaction as much as the bike specification itself.

8. Tracking and delivery updates

Where tracking is available, tracking details may be sent by email, account dashboard, courier message, or support update. Freight tracking is sometimes less granular than parcel tracking. A complete electric bike may show fewer scans, may remain at a depot while awaiting onward transport, or may require a carrier call before final delivery. Tracking events can also lag behind the physical movement of the shipment.

If tracking appears delayed, allow reasonable time for freight updates before assuming the shipment is lost. If the carrier requests information, respond promptly. If tracking shows attempted delivery, depot hold, address problem, customs review, or return-to-sender movement, contact support quickly so the issue can be addressed before additional charges or delays occur.

9. Delivery inspection on arrival

Inspect the outer packaging before accepting delivery where practical. Look for crushed corners, holes, torn cardboard, broken straps, water damage, pallet damage, or signs of mishandling. If the carrier allows notes, record visible damage before signing. Take photographs of the packaging from multiple angles before opening. Keep all packaging until you have confirmed the product condition.

After unpacking, inspect the frame, fork, wheels, tyres, brake levers, display, throttle, battery casing, charger, keys, accessories, documents, and any loose parts. Do not ride a bike that appears damaged. If there is visible damage, missing equipment, or an incorrect item, contact support immediately with photographs and order details. Early reporting helps protect freight claims and allows a cleaner resolution.

10. Failed delivery, refused delivery, and missed appointments

If a customer refuses delivery without contacting support, misses a scheduled delivery appointment, provides an inaccessible address, fails to respond to carrier calls, or gives incorrect delivery details, additional charges may apply. Freight carriers may charge for redelivery, storage, rerouting, return-to-sender handling, or depot release. These costs are often higher for electric bikes than for small parcels.

Do not refuse delivery solely because the outer box has minor cosmetic wear. Instead, document the packaging and inspect the product. If the shipment appears severely damaged, contact support immediately and follow the carrier’s damage notation process where possible. Refusing delivery without documentation can make a damage investigation more difficult.

11. Delivery to businesses, workshops, and freight depots

Some customers prefer delivery to a business address, workshop, warehouse, or freight depot because large electric bikes are easier to receive in those locations. This can be helpful if the address has loading access, staff availability, and secure storage. If you use a third-party receiving location, make sure they are authorised to accept the shipment and inspect the packaging.

Once a third party accepts delivery on your behalf, you should arrange prompt inspection. Delayed inspection can make damage claims harder to verify. If a workshop receives the bike, ask them to keep packaging until the bike has been checked.

12. Delivery delays

Delivery delays can happen because of payment review, stock movement, warehouse preparation, freight capacity, severe weather, customs clearance, public holidays, strikes, regional restrictions, carrier errors, address problems, battery transport review, or destination-country processing. We aim to communicate significant known delays, but not every delay is visible immediately.

If timing is critical, contact us before ordering. Do not schedule events, races, holidays, registrations, inspections, or workshop appointments that depend on guaranteed arrival unless you have received confirmed delivery arrangements. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless explicitly stated in writing.

13. Customs, duties, taxes, and import responsibilities

International customers may be responsible for customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, inspection fees, or local administrative charges. These charges are separate from the product price unless explicitly included at checkout. Customs authorities may contact the customer or carrier for information. Delays can occur if customs paperwork is incomplete, if the customer does not respond, or if the product requires classification review.

Surron Electric Ride cannot control every customs decision. Customers should check local import rules before ordering, especially for high-value electric bikes, lithium-ion batteries, chargers, electric motorcycles, and off-road vehicles. Refusing a shipment because of import charges may result in return freight, storage, customs, and handling deductions.

14. Assembly after delivery

Some electric bikes may arrive partially assembled for safe transport. Common setup steps can include handlebar positioning, front wheel checks, brake checks, tyre pressure checks, control alignment, battery installation, charger verification, and fastener inspection. Customers should follow the supplied manual and seek qualified help if unsure. Incorrect assembly can create safety risks and may affect warranty or return eligibility.

Before the first ride, check brakes, steering, tyres, suspension, chain tension, axle security, throttle response, display function, and battery seating. Do not ride at speed until the bike has been inspected and set up correctly. Electric bikes deliver instant torque, so first rides should be cautious and controlled.

15. Delivery support

If you need help with tracking, delivery access, damaged packaging, missing items, or courier communication, contact support with your order number, full name, delivery postcode, product name, and photographs where relevant. Clear information helps resolve issues faster. For product-specific support, include the product page name, such as Surron Ultra Bee MX Dirt Bike 2025 or Talaria xXx TL2500.

Keep all packaging until your delivery inspection is complete. Packaging is often needed for damage claims, returns, replacement review, and safe transport if the product must be collected. Discarding packaging too early can limit available solutions.

Shipping FAQ

Common delivery questions.

Complete electric bikes are usually shipped by freight or specialist courier. They may arrive boxed or palletised and may require someone to be available at the delivery address. Large shipments need accurate address details, a working phone number, and enough access for freight handling.

EU delivery may be available depending on product, route, courier capacity, battery transport rules, and destination. Cross-border orders may involve customs, VAT, import charges, documentation, and local delivery handoff.

Take photos before unpacking, note visible damage with the carrier where possible, keep all packaging, inspect the product carefully, and contact support immediately if the bike or accessories are damaged or missing.

Contact support immediately if you need to change an address. Changes may be possible before dispatch, but once the shipment is booked or handed to freight, address changes may be restricted, delayed, or subject to carrier approval and extra charges.
