Surron Electric Ride supplies high-performance electric ride products, including Surron electric motorcycles, Talaria electric dirt bikes, off-road MX builds, street-legal configurations, smart chargers, batteries, controllers, and replacement power components. These machines combine high-voltage electrical circuits, mid-drive motors, hydraulic braking systems, adjustable suspension, and structural frame assemblies. Fault evaluation is performed methodically based on technical diagnostic evidence, operating conditions, and maintenance history.
This Warranty Policy outlines qualifying criteria, standard exclusions, claim submission procedures, and repair/replacement pathways under Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010). It applies to direct purchases from Surron Electric Ride, including the Talaria Sting R MX4 Off-Road 2025, Talaria xXx TL2500, Surron Ultra Bee MX Dirt Bike 2025, Surron Ultra Bee Street Legal 2025, Surron Storm Bee MX 2025, and Surron Storm Bee Enduro Road 2025.
A technical warranty claim differs from a voluntary return. Change-of-mind parameters are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy, while transit issues discovered upon unboxing are covered under our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL) Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
A major failure under the ACL occurs when the product would not have been bought by a reasonable consumer had they known about the defect, if the product is significantly different from the description, or if it is unsafe. Warranties outlined on this page operate in addition to these statutory rights.
2. Claim Eligibility & Proof of Purchase
Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and requires tax invoice validation. To submit a claim, provide your tax invoice number, full name, delivery address, product model, and serial details. Products purchased secondhand, through unauthorized auction sites, or via grey-market importers are not covered by Surron Electric Ride warranty support.
3. Claim Submission Workflow
To initiate a technical claim, contact our support team with a detailed description of the fault, photos, video footage demonstrating the issue, and relevant operating history. Detail when the issue occurred, charger model used, storage conditions, and whether water or crash impact was involved.
For electrical diagnostics, capture display error codes, charger indicator light behavior, and wiring harness condition. For mechanical claims, provide close-up and wide-angle photos of the affected component. Incomplete diagnostic information will delay assessment.
4. Battery Pack Warranty Terms
High-voltage lithium-ion battery modules are covered against manufacturing defects, internal cell failure, and BMS logic faults under normal operating parameters. Diagnostic review involves verifying voltage readings, charging logs, terminal condition, and casing integrity.
Battery warranty is void if the pack shows evidence of water ingress, pressure washing damage, casing punctures, drop impact, thermal damage from unauthorized fast chargers, modified wiring, or if the battery was stored completely discharged for extended periods. Discontinue charging immediately if casing swelling, odor, or excess heat is observed.
5. Charger & Charging Infrastructure
Factory chargers are covered against electronic component failure under normal Australian 240V mains operation. Always connect chargers to grounded mains outlets. Warranties do not cover damage caused by mains power surges, modified plugs, extension lead overloading, outdoor exposure to rain, or drops.
6. Electric Drivetrain & Electronics
Motors, controllers, displays, throttles, and wiring harnesses are protected against component defects. Drivetrain claims evaluate hall sensor signals, phase wire connections, controller error codes, and physical casing condition.
Failures resulting from aftermarket firmware modifications, custom controller flashing, increased voltage bypasses, submerged water crossings, or severe crash impact are excluded from warranty coverage.
7. Frame, Suspension & Mechanical Systems
Structural frames, swingarms, forks, rear shocks, and hydraulic brake calipers are warranted against structural manufacturing defects. Off-road riding subjects bikes to vibration and heavy loads; regular fastener torque checks and suspension setup are owner responsibilities.
Crash damage, bent rims from rock impacts, blown fork seals due to dirt buildup, snapped levers, and frame distortion from extreme jumps or overloading are excluded from warranty coverage.
8. Consumables & Wear Items
Tires, inner tubes, brake pads, brake rotors, drive chains, sprockets, bearings, footpegs, and hand grips are consumable items that wear naturally during operation. These items are excluded from warranty coverage unless a manufacturing defect is identified and reported prior to initial use.
9. Off-Road, Farm & MX Usage Scope
Models like the Talaria Sting R MX4 Off-Road 2025, Talaria xXx TL2500, Surron Ultra Bee MX Dirt Bike 2025, and Surron Storm Bee MX 2025 are designed for off-road riding. Warranty protection covers material defects but does not extend to damage sustained from competitive racing, stunt riding, crashing, or lack of routine maintenance.
10. Street-Legal Registration & Road Models
Road-legal builds like the Surron Ultra Bee Street Legal 2025 and Surron Storm Bee Enduro Road 2025 feature factory ADR equipment. Warranty covers defects in supplied road hardware (lights, indicators, horn, speedometer), but does not cover state road registration fees, insurance costs, or local license compliance issues.
11. Unauthorized Modifications
Modifying factory controllers, installing non-approved higher voltage batteries, bypassing factory speed/power limiters, altering wiring looms, or making structural frame modifications invalidates warranty coverage for affected electrical and mechanical systems.
12. Water Ingress & Storage Conditions
While components feature weather-resistant seals for light rain and damp trails, electric motorcycles must not be pressure-washed or submerged in water crossings. Water damage to controllers, batteries, or displays caused by high-pressure spray, submersion, or outdoor weather exposure is excluded from warranty coverage.
13. Remedies & Freight Responsibility for Claims
Where a manufacturing fault is verified, Surron Electric Ride will provide repair parts, technical repair guidance, local service authorization, or replacement components as required under the ACL. For minor faults, replacement parts are supplied for installation.
Under Australian Consumer Law, if a major failure occurs, the customer is entitled to a replacement or refund, and Surron Electric Ride will manage return freight arrangements. For non-fault or excluded damage claims, inspection and freight costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
